Feature-centric Approach

Reqode uses a feature-centric approach, where all information is organized around software features.

Feature is an artifact (document) describing a particular software functionality. It contains low-level functional and non-functional requirements. Feature is maintained and kept up-to-date during the product development process.

Features can be linked to business requirements on the one hand and to specifications, tasks, tests and source code on the other. Thus Feature is a central artifact that allows tracing between business requirements, specifications, tests and implementation.

Functions are grouped into modules. Modules help to unify related system functions and provide a top-level view of tasks, test coverage, test statuses and other indicators of the development process.
